Today is National DNA Day. It is also the day that DNA evidence had lead to the arrest of the Golden State Killer, a man responsible for 12 homicides and almost 50 rapes during the 70’s and 80’s in California. It’s a momentous day for showcasing the power of forensic science and the investigative efforts of some immensely dedicated people.
