An ad about understanding autism that changes as you move

I looked into the organization that made this ad (national autistic society) and found out that their website actually features posts written by autistic people to persuade people that rather than “curing” autism, the differences among people should be celebrated and theyre primarily recommended to parents learning with new diagnoses :^)

“I’m not naughty, I’m autistic” would’ve changed my life as a kid.

okay but can we also just appreciate how accurately they managed to visually represent what overstimulation feels like?

the NAS is the biggest organisation in the UK for autism, and I’m so fucking grateful to them honestly. Their youtube channel has some fantastic videos representing autism in so many different ways. I can’t even name all the positive things they do on a day to day basis.

This is a Christian website now.

Frankly yes, because the porn bots are still here and still following people (me) and yet they took away adult content tags, making it harder and harder for creators, especially those who are adults and therefore have their blog settings reflecting that, to have their content be visible. This doesn’t just block tags, it makes all “adult-oriented” blogs invisible, no matter what their content actually is. So like…I hope they figure out what they’re doing soon, for the sake of every adult creator, whether their content is adult or not

Did y’all know this includes sex ed blogs? It includes sex ed blogs. This is not okay.

Also what is up with tumblr being like “we support sex work!” but then being like “unless you draw, write, or make video porn for a living”.
